A UK learning and development consultancy has launched a new workshop for people wanting to raise their self-awareness and develop emotional intelligence to facilitate more effective teamwork.
The ‘Think like a leader, Act like a leader’ workshop created by Adaptis Limited uses the Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) to apply ‘whole brain’ thinking.

By understanding our thinking preferences, we become aware of not only how we interpret and communicate information but also the differences or similarities in how others process information. We can then start to discover ways to expand our thinking into all four quadrants of the brain to move towards ‘whole brain’ thinking.”
The workshop is designed to teach participants how they can adapt their behaviour to get the best from themselves, others and their relationships by enhancing self-awareness. It teaches techniques on how we can better communicate our expectations to stakeholders and team members.
Sara added: “The topic of trust is key. We share tools on how to build trust using effective influencing strategies and assess how language can be adapted to strengthen relationships and increase impact.
