RUMWELL Farm Shop is hosting its first 2026 Rumwell Supper Club next week – celebrating the best of Westcountry food including ingredients grown and raised on its family farm nearby (February 2026).
The multi-award-winning Farm Shop, on the A38 between Taunton and Wellington, is holding a Sausage & Crumble Night on Thursday, February 19, from 6pm, in its Rumwell Orchard event space.
Partner, Sophie Mitchell, says: “As a family-run, Somerset-based business, wherever we can we put supporting Somerset and Westcountry produce at the heart of what we do. This special Supper Club evening showcases quality ingredients raised and grown by our farm team, including our pork, beef, potatoes and apples.
“Guests will enjoy a hearty selection of sausages from our award-winning Made At Rumwell range, all prepared by our in-house Butchery team. Sausage options include chicken, beef, pork and apple. Gluten Free items are also available. Each sausage dish will be served with creamy mashed potatoes, onion gravy and peas.”
This first Supper Club event of the year is a celebration of Rumwell Farm Shop’s commitment to sourcing Westcountry and Somerset produce wherever possible and to using its own homegrown products as much as it can too.
Sophie adds: “Following the main course, guests will be treated to a comforting bowl of homemade fruit crumble featuring apples from our own orchards. Crumble flavours include plum, apple, rhubarb and pear, and there will also be a Gluten Free crumble available. Each dessert will be served with custard, cream or vanilla ice cream.”
Vegetarian and vegan dishes will also be offered and guests should share any dietary requirements they may have when booking.
Sophie concludes: “The evening is designed to shine a spotlight on the quality and flavour of our farm’s own produce, as well as bringing together hearty dishes that showcase the very best of Westcountry and Somerset ingredients too.
“This is our food at its best – local, comforting and lovingly made. Just what we all need at this time of year when the rain clouds hover above us on a daily basis and the sunshine is few and far between.
