CHARITY workers working from home due to the Coronavirus pandemic are being offered free workshops by a learning and development consultancy to help them manage themselves and their teams remotely (June, 2020).
Adaptis is offering people bitesize 90-minute workshops on maintaining productivity, wellbeing, communication and managing themselves and others remotely as they continue working from home.
Sara Burks, Director at Adaptis, which is based in London and offers bespoke services to help organisations get the best out of their people, said: “Many office workers have been working from home for some time now and in line with the Government guidance that we should continue to do so if possible, this has become the ‘new normal’ for many people and it may continue for some time.
“It’s been challenging for all of us to go from working in a team environment to being at home alone, so it’s important that people are able to manage their workload while remaining motivated in this new context, which is why we are offering short, 90-minute workshops to share tips and techniques that can help.
“The workshops will be delivered via Zoom and also offer the opportunity for people to meet people from other organisations and share best practice and branch out into separate rooms for further discussions.”
Adaptis is offering its workshops for free to people who work in the charity sector.
Sara added: “To continue the running of any organisation from home is a challenge, so we want to help teams out there to keep their charity running efficiently. We hope the workshops will be helpful.”
