A SOMERSET Christmas tree farm is launching a free Christmas tree delivery service in the run up to the festivities for customers who are shielding or vulnerable (2020).
Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm is offering the service to people who live within a 10-mile radius of it.
Nick Hendy from Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm, which is based at Middle Hill Farm in Langford Budville, said: “We want to do everything we can to support our customers and don’t want those who are still shielding from the virus or who are vulnerable and can’t get out and about easily, to miss out.
“To make sure they still have the best Christmas possible, those customers can give us a call on 01823 400476 or fill out our contact form on our website at https://www.langfordlakes.co.uk/contact/ and let us know what tree they’d like and any decorations to go with it and have it delivered on an agreed day free of charge.
“Payments will be taken via phone and upon delivery our staff will be wearing masks and using hand sanitiser to protect everyone. Our staff are unable to enter people’s homes.”
Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm, which is well-known for its home grown, freshly cut Christmas trees, is a family run 40-acre farm that is located close to the nature reserve Langford Heathfield, a mile outside of Langford Budville in Somerset.
It is a family-run farm, owned and run by Reg and his wife Ann and their two sons and daughters-in-law, Shaun, Trudy, Nick and Clare. The family has been growing and selling Christmas trees for more than 20 years.

Due to COVID-19, the farm has carefully considered and reviewed its day-to-day operations, especially during its peak busy periods. To help people stay safe and socially distance throughout the Shed and Shop areas, it’s reorganised its flow to create a ‘One Way’ walk through for customers to choose, pay for and collect their tree.
