CHILDREN from Somerset attended a farm shop in the county last Thursday (October 31, 2019) for a spooky Halloween party.
Rumwell Farm Shop, which is located on the A38 between Taunton and Wellington, hosted a variety of activities for youngsters on Thursday, October 31 to celebrate Halloween.
Anne Mitchell, Joint Owner of the farm shop, said: “The Halloween party was a huge success. All the children who attended had a fantastic, fun-filled afternoon. We had a fabulous face painter, Suzy Marsh from AngelArt Face Painting, at the event so the youngsters could have their faces painted.
“Our staff members were on hand to carve the frightening designs created by youngsters on to pumpkins and we had a fun and gruesome ‘slime the zombie’ game. One of our staff members dressed up and the children were able to cover him in spaghetti and slime. Great fun for all.
“There were some fabulous costumes from scary skeletons to Draculas, ghosts and witches. We also created a special spooky themed tea for the children to enjoy.”
Rumwell Farm Shop is an independent, family-run, award-winning business owned by the Mitchell family. It has a traditional butchery counter selling its own free-range pork and Aberdeen Angus beef reared on the family farm.
