A CHARITY fundraising Vintage and Craft Fair is taking place at Highfield Church Centre in Southampton on Saturday, March 14 from 10.30am until 2pm.
The event is in aid of Communicare, which enriches the lives of the city’s lonely and isolated, and the organisers wish to hear from helpers who can assist with setting-up and staffing stalls.
They would also like to hear from anyone who can donate homemade cakes.
Bakers can drop off their makes at Highfield Church Centre on the morning of the event from 8am. Or at Communicare’s main office on the Friday and at its satellite offices in Woolston and Shirley on Thursday before the event, as long as they will keep.
The Vintage & Craft Fair includes craft and jewellery stalls, as well as gifts for Mothering Sunday and Easter. There will also be live music and a raffle.
Communicare is a friendly, neighbourhood charity that wants to eradicate loneliness and isolation in the city with the assistance of its band of Communiteers, who volunteer to give their time freely.
