GARDEN Centre Association (GCA) members are invited to join a special London Christmas Retail Tour on November 4, 2026, with proceeds from ticket sales for the event being donated to Greenfingers.
The tour will showcase outstanding Christmas retail displays and merchandising throughout London while raising funds for the charity, which creates magical gardens for children’s hospices.
GCA CEO Peter Burks says: “We’re delighted to combine our day of festive retail inspiration with fundraising for Greenfingers.
“Christmas is a crucial trading period for members and this tour will provide valuable ideas on visual merchandising, customer experiences and seasonal displays, while also supporting a very worthwhile charity.
“We’re extremely grateful to Smart Garden Products for sponsoring lunch on the day.”
Attendees will visit some of London’s most iconic festive retail destinations, including Southbank Winter Market, Covent Garden, Regent Street, Liberty, Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason.
The aim of the event is to give members practical ideas to take back to their own businesses.
The tour will run from approximately 10.30am to 5.30pm on Wednesday, November 4.
Tickets are £10 per person, with proceeds donated to Greenfingers.
Places are limited and members are encouraged to book early. The booking deadline is October 16, 2026. To reserve a place, please contact Laura at laura@gca.org.uk.
The GCA represents nearly 230 garden centres nationwide. Through sharing information and its inspection programme, the GCA helps members achieve high standards in customer service, plant quality and reliability.
